Firvale Cricket Club was founded in 1956 by a small group of friends to participate in friendly cricket. The club has played mid week league cricket but the focus has always been on providing friendly cricket on weekends. The club does not have a home ground as such and has always been run as a nomadic Saturday/Sunday club (although the Saturday fixture list met its demise some time ago as league cricket restricted the clubs available to play friendly cricket). The club has a full calendar of Sunday friendly matches along with mid week friendly fixtures.

The 2011 Season Presentation Evening took place on Saturday 10th March 2012 at The Hollinsend Clubhouse. Thanks to Roop for running the quiz and being the host for the evening. The following people received awards:
